Digital Terms of Sale
These terms apply to anything purchased from Manhattan Standard — event tickets, licenses and reprints, commercial arrangements and any digital product we offer. Reading the site is free and requires no purchase, and our general terms of service cover that.
Orders and acceptance
An order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm the order in writing. We may decline an order, including where a price has been listed in error, and we will tell you if we do.
Prices, taxes and payment
Prices are stated in United States dollars. Applicable sales tax is added where required and shown before you confirm. Payment is taken through our payment processor; we do not store full card details.
Delivery of digital items
Digital items are made available at the point of purchase or at the time stated in the confirmation. Access is for the person or organization named in the order and may not be redistributed unless the license says otherwise.
Cancellation and refunds
- Event tickets: refundable up to the date stated with the event. If we cancel an event, we refund in full.
- Licenses and reprints: refundable before the licensed use begins.
- Where an item is faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy regardless of anything above.
Editorial independence
Nothing purchased under these terms confers any influence over our reporting, any place on an editorial list, or any right to approve or remove coverage. Paid features are labeled as such wherever they appear.
Liability and disputes
Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited. These terms are governed by the law of the State of New York.
If you are entering a substantial commercial arrangement with us, the signed agreement for that work governs it and takes precedence over this page.
