Story tips

newsroom@manhattanstandardmag.com — for information you think we should look into: a business, a person, a development, a document, a pattern.

The most useful tip says what happened, when and where, who was involved, how you know, and what would let us verify it independently — a filing, a date, a proceeding, a name we can approach. We cannot publish an allegation because it was made to us; we publish what we can establish.

We read everything. We cannot reply to everything, and sending a tip does not guarantee publication, a reply, or any particular outcome.

If your position is sensitive

Do not use a work computer, a work phone or a work email account to contact us — employers can and do review those systems, and that is the most common way a source is identified. Ordinary email is not a secure channel. Never send passwords, financial credentials or authentication codes; we will never ask for them. If the matter is serious, write to us before sending anything and we will agree a safer route.

Corrections

corrections@manhattanstandardmag.com — send the article URL, the specific statement at issue, what you believe is wrong, the correct information, and anything that supports it.

This is read by an editor rather than by the desk that wrote the piece. We correct on the article itself and note what changed and when.

Advertising and paid features

sales@manhattanstandardmag.com — for feature packages, display advertising, custom content, partnerships and events. Tell us who you are, what you want covered, and roughly when.

Paid work carries a visible disclosure. Buying advertising or a paid feature does not buy independent editorial coverage, a favorable conclusion, a ranking, an award, or a place on any list. Our advertise page explains the packages.

Press and media enquiries

press@manhattanstandardmag.com — for questions about the publication itself, interview requests and speaking requests. Include your outlet, the subject, your deadline and how to reach you. Our press room sets out what each kind of request should contain.

Privacy and data requests

privacy@manhattanstandardmag.com — to ask what personal information we hold about you, to receive a copy, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to opt out of its use for advertising. Write from the address concerned so we can confirm the request is yours. Our privacy statement and privacy choices pages set out the rights in full.

Careers and freelance

careers@manhattanstandardmag.com — for open roles and speculative approaches. For reporting roles send published work rather than a pitch deck. For freelance, pitch a specific story: what you think is true, why it matters, how you would establish it, and what you have already done to check it.

Reprints and licensing

sales@manhattanstandardmag.com — quoting a short extract with attribution and a link needs no permission. Reproducing an article, distributing copies or using our work commercially is a license. Our reprints page explains what to send.

What we cannot do here

We do not give individual legal, tax, financial or investment advice, by email or in our articles. We do not remove accurate reporting on request, and we do not take payment to do so. If you believe something we published is inaccurate, the corrections address above is the route, and we take it seriously.
