Manhattan Standard is free to read. There is no paywall, no metered limit, and no registration required to read anything we publish.
Subscribing means our email briefings. They are the way most regular readers keep up with us, and they are free.
The briefings
- The Daily — what happened in New York business overnight, every weekday morning.
- The Close — an evening read on markets and money from a New York vantage point.
- Real Estate Weekly — what traded, filed, was approved and stalled, on Thursdays.
Each briefing has its own page with a description and a sign-up form. You can take one or all three, and change that at any time.
What we do with your address
We use it to send the briefings you asked for. We do not sell it, and we do not pass it to advertisers. Every email carries an unsubscribe link that works immediately, and you can manage or delete your details from your account page.
Why there is no paywall
Our reporting is funded by advertising and by clearly labeled paid features rather than by subscriptions. That model only works if the disclosure is honest, which is why every paid feature carries a visible label and links to our editorial standards.
If you would like to support the work, read the briefings, forward them to someone who would find them useful, and tell us when we get something wrong.
