Press Room

This page is for journalists, editors, researchers and organizations who need something from us rather than from our reporting.

Media enquiries

press@manhattanstandardmag.com — for questions about the publication itself: our ownership, our editorial policies, our coverage decisions. Include your name and outlet, the subject, your deadline, the specific article or topic, and how you would like to be reached. We answer questions about how we work.

Interview requests

To interview one of our editors, send the subject, a proposed date and time, the format and duration, where it will appear, the audience and your deadline. We will say yes or no rather than leave a request unanswered.

Speaking and events

Include the event, the organizer, date and location, format, the role proposed, the topic, expected audience, duration and deadline, and whether the appearance is paid. Each is considered on its own terms.

Citing our work

You are welcome to quote us with attribution to Manhattan Standard and a link to the article. Quote accurately and in context, and do not imply an endorsement or affiliation that does not exist. Reproducing a whole piece, republishing substantial portions or distributing copies is a licensing matter — our reprints page explains how to arrange it.

Images are not all ours

Do not assume that every image on this site belongs to us. Photographs and illustrations may be licensed from photographers or agencies, supplied by a third party, or subject to separate restrictions. Permission to reproduce an article does not carry permission to reproduce the images published with it.

Corrections and complaints

corrections@manhattanstandardmag.com — send the article URL, the specific statement at issue, what you say is wrong, and anything that supports it. We correct on the page and note what changed and when. We do not quietly amend text, and we do not remove accurate reporting.

Commercial enquiries

sales@manhattanstandardmag.com — we sell feature coverage and it is labeled wherever it appears. Buying advertising or a paid feature does not buy independent coverage, a favorable conclusion, or a place on any editorial list. Nobody on the commercial side has a role in editorial decisions.
