The Real Estate Council
The Real Estate Council brings together people working across New York property — development, investment, leasing, lending, and the professional advisers around them — for discussion that is more candid than a public panel allows.
What members get
- Closed sessions under agreed rules on attribution.
- Briefings from the Real Estate Desk on what the public record is showing.
- Introductions within the membership.
- Early access to our events program.
What membership is not
Membership does not buy editorial coverage, a place on the Real Estate Power 50 or on any other list, or influence over our reporting on a member's projects. List selection sits with editors and has no commercial input.
Our property reporting is built from public records — deeds, permits, approvals and filings. Membership does not change what those records say, and it does not stop us reporting them.
Who it is for
People with decision-making responsibility in New York property, whether principal or adviser. Membership is by application and is reviewed.

Contact us with your organization, your role and what you want from the room, and we will explain what membership involves before anything is committed.
